When you are looking for a more active day out from Addis Ababa and you are reasonable fit you could consider traveling down the Ambo Road and go for a nice walk at Wenchi. Early morning after breakfast (7.00 hours) we pick you from your hotel for the 2,5 hour (150 km) drive to the beautiful area of Wenchi. Here we meet our local guide and get organized for the day. Different walks are available, from 1.5 to 5 hours.

Lakeside Adventures
"From horse trails to island monasteries..."
If you want a horse it can be arranged here too. To make to going easier or just for fun, no experience is needed. Once at the lakeside a small boat takes us to a monastery island. Somewhere in a beautiful setting we enjoy a picnic lunch we brought from Addis Ababa. Latest 16.00 hour we depart back to Addis Ababa to drop you at your hotel around sunset.
